Indian markets extended losses for third consecutive day 10th feb

Indian markets extended losses for third consecutive day buy managed to close above crucial support level. IT, realty and oil&gas space led the decline while auto, pharma and power stocks showed some resistance.

National Stock Exchange’s Nifty ended at 5222.15, down 31.40 points or 0.60 per cent. The broader index touched a low of 5196.80 and high of 5272.50 in today’s trade.

Bombay Stock Exchange’s Sensex closed at 17459.64, down 133.13 points or 0.76 per cent. The broader index touched a low of 17362.59 and high of 17636.88 intraday.

BSE Midcap Index was up 0.11 per cent and BSE Smallcap Index ended 0.72 per cent lower.

Indian markets were witnessing a lackluster session 3rd feb

Indian markets were witnessing a lackluster session due to lack of cues from global peers. Gains in rate sensitive sectors like realty, auto and banks were offset by losses in oil&gas, power and healthcare space.

National Stock Exchange’s Nifty was at 5425.55, down 6.45 points or 0.12 per cent. The 50-share index touched a low of 5418 and high of 5443.45 in trade so far.

Bombay Stock Exchange’s Sensex was at 18110.08, up 19.46 points or 0.11 per cent. The 30-share index touched a low of 18064.61 and high of 18158.01 in trade so far.
